The ProMax 200 series is a multifunctional charger and is available in high charging currents. So versatile!

Charging programs
The ProMax 200 goes far in optimizing the charging process. First of all, of course, the charging voltage is adjustable, so that it can be optimized for the relevant lead battery. But the charger also distinguishes between usage situations (onboard -stand alone). In this way, the charging process is completely adapted to the relevant combination. For batteries that are regularly deeply discharged, the charger even has a special charging program to break down the sulphate. Ultimately, you can choose between no less than 36 charging programs! This sounds complicated, but the charger can easy be set with 1 push button.

Charging process
The microprocessor controls and monitors the charger, battery and overall progress resulting in a reliable and stable charging process. If an error is detected during the charging process, the charger will indicate this by means of an error code, so it's easy to determine which error is occurring. The charging process is of course fully automatic and will also start a new charge if necessary. The charger may remain connected/on during battery loading, starting an engine or when multiple power sources are present (such as a solar panel). When the charging process is completed, the charger will go to the maintenance state (float charge) and after a longer period of time even to a special charging state to keep the battery in good condition (jogging). The ProMax 200 series is therefore also suitable for permanent connection.

Characteristics
With the three LEDs on the front, the status of the charging process is easy to read. A suitable battery cable can be mounted on the two M6 or M8 terminal bolts on the front. A unique feature is that the voltage loss across the charging cables is automatically compensated. In this way, the battery actually receives the set charging voltage. With a soft start, reverse polarity protection, short circuit protection and monitoring of the output voltage, input voltage, charging time and of course the internal temperature, the many sides of the charging process are controlled.

Accessories
The charger can be expanded with a temperature sensor to monitor the battery temperature during the charging process. Depending on the measured temperature, a correction is made to the charging voltages. Also available with a potential free contact. Some models are also available with an output voltage of 36Vdc and 48Vdc, input voltage of 115Vac. Ask for the possibilities.
