Two 230VAC sources
If you want to operate the 230VAC equipment within the same circuit, on both the normal mains voltage and on a DC-AC inverter, then the installation of a so-called automatic transfer switch is a must. The transfer switches from the PTS series ensure flawless switching between two 230VAC sources. The ideal solution for motorhomes, boats, commercial vehicles, market vehicles, etc., but also for creating a backup system. The PTS switch box automatically selects between the two inputs. If the mains voltage is connected from outside, the equipment will work via the mains from that moment on. If the mains voltage is lost, the system switches back to the inverter. The equipment continues to work flawlessly without having to pay any further attention to it. If no switch box is installed within the circuit, the mains voltage will be paralleled to the output of the DC-AC inverter. This will cause major damage to the inverter. In addition to the combination mains voltage - DC/AC inverter, the switch box can also be used for mains voltage in combination with generator or generator in combination with DC/AC inverter. An important feature is that this Power Transfer Switch switches off with a double pole (phase and neutral).

Communication with PurePower inverter (X-Com)
Model PTS 230-25 has a plug & play connection especially for communication with the PurePower inverters from Xenteq (from 600 Watt). This gives the option to switch the inverter on or off automatically. If the mains voltage is present, the PTS switch box will switch off the PurePower inverter. If the mains voltage is lost, the inverter is switched on again. In this way the inverter is not switched on unnecessarily and you don't have to manually switch the inverter on/off. When you also want to be able to operate the PurePower inverter manually by the available PPR-1 or PPR-3 remote control, you can do this by adding the T-splitter.

Potential-free contact
Another connection that model PTS 230-25 has is a potential-free contact. This provides several options, for example starting a generator, switching an inverter on/off or generating a (warning) signal. Remarke: this feature cannot be used simultaneously with the X-com option.
